MOUSE Welcomes Kate Rosenbloom to the Team
Hi everyone! I’m Kate, the new MOUSE Program Manager! I started working at MOUSE just a couple weeks ago and I’m super excited to be here. I wanted to tell you a little about myself so you can get to know me before the school year starts!
Before I came to MOUSE, I managed the Wise Institute at New York City’s High School of Economics & Finance. I have also worked at the San Francisco Boys Chorus and the San Francisco Film Society’s Youth Education Program.
I studied film at Oberlin College and then went to Teachers College, Columbia University where I got my Masters degree in Communication, Computing & Technology in Education.
Here are 5 fun facts about me:
- I have a very fluffy cat. He kinda looks like a giant grey cotton ball:
- I love to do crossword puzzles!
- I can adjust brakes and gears on a bike and also fix a flat tire!
- I know a lot about the octopus (they have blue blood!)!
- I am almost always reading 2 books at once; one on the subway and another at home.
Anything else you want to know about me? Just ask!
I can’t wait to start working with all of you. Have a great rest-of-the-summer!
