Share the MOUSE Squad Story!

We've been hard at work behind the scenes at MOUSE HQ creating an animated video that tells the story of the important work you do in MOUSE Squad. You represent a national network of young people who are doing incredible things for schools, communities, and so much more and we want to encourage you to share the story!

Share this video with your friends, family, teachers and social networks to let everyone know what great work you do in MOUSE Squad!

Here are just a few ideas of the ways you can get the word out about MOUSE Squad:

  • Tweet this link to your social network on twitter, make sure to include the @mousesquad handle!
  • Show this video at a school assembly to let everyone know what your MOUSE Squad does
  • Use it to introduce your friends to what you do in MOUSE Squad.
  • Put this link (http://youtu.be/m-ve74E34M4) on your blog or facebook to share with your friends.

A big shout out and thank you goes to Ajahneik from the MOUSE Squad at The Dr. Susan S. McKinney Secondary School of the Arts for doing the amazing narration for this video. Isn't she incredible?

In the D.I.Y. spirit, we wanted to make our production process as transparent as possible. All of the drawings you see in the video were made by MOUSE's very own Training Specialist Maggie Muldoon who is an amazingly talented artist. We filmed this video by mounting a camera above Maggie looking down at the paper and then sped up the footage to match the voice-over. We added a little stop motion video too. If you put your mind to it, you could make something like this (maybe for the Spring Microproject D.I.Y. contest?)!

In the comments below, tell us about who YOU shared this video with and what your favorite part of MOUSE Squad is. We can't wait to hear from you!
