PlayTech Saturday Rocks Again!

On Saturday, November 21st a group of excited Mouse Squad members and coordinators gathered at Parsons The New School for Design to have fun at PlayTech Saturday!
crowd of gamers

PlayTech gives Mouse Squad members the chance to test out the latest games and projects being designed by graduate students at Parsons. Some of these games are almost finished and some are just the seeds of an idea. The feedback from Mouse Squad members helps determine the shape of these games in the future. And don't forget about the delicious free pizza.

This year we saw console games, tablet and phone games, action games, thinking games, goofy games and serious experiments with human behavior.

Everyone at PlayTech Saturday also got a chance to play Mouse's very own "PlayTech: The Game" in order to win a PlayTech Saturday usb key. It looks like a key and can fit on a keyring, but it actually holds 2 gigabytes of data. How cool is that?

In order to win prizes, all the players had to do was give their opinions on the games at PlayTech (what were their favorites? what would they change?). We also asked Mouse Squad members to come up with their own idea for a game

This was one of the most fun PlayTech Saturday’s ever!! Thank you so much to everyone who attended! We had a blast and can't wait to see you next time in the Spring!
