Host a MOUSE Workshop at Your School!

This Spring, Bring Even More of the MOUSE Squad Spirit to Your School!

Every NYC MOUSE Squad school can sign up for a free specialized tech workshop at your school at any time in the school year! These workshops are a great way to deepen your Squad's knowledge on a specialized tech topic with hands-on activities, build up your MOUSE Squad help desk, and strengthen your team with fun and challenging teambuilding games.

Click here to see a list of the different topics you can choose from for your tech workshop!

Tech workshops are led by your school's MOUSE Squad Training Specialist (Alex, Maggie, Patrick, or Rachel). When you're planning your tech workshop, you can tell your Training Specialist if you want to make it an "open" workshop. If you choose to make it an open workshop, we'll invite MOUSE Squads at nearby schools to come join you--like your own mini-Team Training! Open workshops are a great way to meet and learn from other MOUSE Squads in your neighborhood!

But wait...there's more!

Now you can also sign up for tech trainings that focus on the Garage Robotics and Serious Games Specialist Certifications!

AND if you opt to hold an open tech workshop focusing on one of the Specialist Certifications, you can still have another tech workshop just for your Squad! Here's what you do to set up a tech workshop for your MOUSE Squad:

  1. Take a look at this flyer, which has a list of all the different workshop topics you can choose from.
  2. Decide whether you want to host an open tech training, and invite MOUSE Squads from other schools in your neighborhood!
  3. Contact your Training Specialist--Alex, Maggie, Patrick, or Rachel--to schedule your training. (If you're not sure who your Training Specialist is, email Naomi.) Remember to tell them which workshop you want, whether it will be open to other Squads, and a few days and times that will work for you.
  4. If you're signing up to host an open workshop, you can also schedule a workshop just for your Squad on a different date!

.
We're looking forward to coming out to your school!
