Uplugged Recap: PLAYTECH Saturday at Parsons School for Design

On November 21st, 20 MOUSE Squad technicians and 7 MOUSE Squad coordinators attended PLAYTECH Saturday at Parsons School for Design. Students and Coordinators participated in a fun-filled afternoon of fully immersive games like Manhatta, which uses GPS enabled smart phones to guide teams in a head to head hunt to dominate Manhattan's natural resources-for fun.
PLAYTECH really is all fun and games. But it's also one of the few times MOUSE Squad's have the opportunity to participate in the game design process. Students got inside information on the many different facets of creating a game from story writing to coding to graphics and illustration.
