MOUSE Squad Kickoff at Maker Faire - 9/25/2010
NYC MOUSE Squad students and coordinators are invited to attend the MOUSE Squad Kickoff on Saturday, September 25th at Maker Faire, 10AM - 2PM!
(At San Francisco's Maker Faire, there was a human-sized version of the MOUSE Trap game!)
This year, Maker Faire is being held at the New York Hall of Science in Queens NY. All MOUSE Squad teachers and students are invited to join us for an amazing kickoff.
Entrance to Maker Faire is FREE only if you get your tickets from a MOUSE Staff member. If you arrive late, contact JB or Meredith and we'll bring your ticket to the gate.
What is Maker Faire?
MAKE is a quarterly, project-based magazine, it's also a physical event series called "Maker Faire" a very popular website, a book series, a Maker SHED, a television show - but most of all, it's a community of Makers who share their projects and skills. MAKE is what-you-MAKE-it. It's a growing DIY movement of people who look at things a little differently and who just might spark the next generation of scientists, engineers and makers.
